ABOUT DNA PHOTOGRAPHY

We’re Nick and Stephanie, a husband-and-wife team capturing the energy, growth, and stories of athletes, seniors, and families across Maine and parts of New England. From sport fields to senior sessions, we bring creativity, heart, and a little bit of magic to every image. Our favorite part? Seeing our clients celebrated and empowered through the photos we create.

Our Story

Our journey began in 2010 when Nick was rebranding the family photography business and Stephanie was exploring photography as a hobby. Over time, Stephanie found her place behind the scenes—managing orders, working with clients, and keeping everything running smoothly—while Nick focuses on the creative vision and tech side. Our family team is proud of the brand we have created and are considered to be one of the premiere photographic teams in the state. 

Our Work

With our own kids growing up playing sports, we naturally gravitated toward sports and senior photography. Today, we capture the energy and stories of young athletes and students across Maine. Over the past ten years, DNA Photography has grown steadily, earning recognition while connecting with schools, families, and communities. In 2025, Nick left his 20-year engineering career to focus entirely on growing the family business—a leap of faith that has been rewarding beyond measure.

What Fuels Us

Stephanie thrives on caffeine, a good book, trash TV (Love is Blind, Grey’s Anatomy), and experimenting in the kitchen. Nick loves his morning routine, a good business book, getting outside, and finding inspiration in movies, music, and mythology. He’s happiest designing new sports templates, delivering wall hangings that make clients feel like heroes, creating art for national competitions, and showing clients images that celebrate and empower them.

We’re both members of the Maine Professional Photography Association, where we find community, inspiration, and endless learning opportunities. Above all, we love traveling, sharing experiences, and capturing memories with friends, family, and the amazing people we meet along the way.

Working with DNA Photography for a superhero photo shoot with our boys was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, Neoclis and Stephanie were wonderful. They were incredibly patient and understanding, taking into consideration our boys' ADHD and autism. GIVING BACK

We believe in being a true member of the community we live in. For the last decade we have been donating our services, time and money to numerous charities and sport associations in our neighborhoods. We have funded Buddy Ball teams and leagues , raise money for high school project graduations, worked to get thousands of dollars donated to helping build a new ball park and Stephanie's pet project which is our annual "Clear The List" campaign, something we do to help several of our local teachers get the supplies they need to create a stronger classroom.
